Where our mission began
This "pocket park" at 8th and I Streets SE created by the Barracks Row revitalization project fostered our "guerrilla gardening" movement. For nearly 15 years, we maintained and planted the treeboxes surrounding this space as well as establishing the border garden now a prominent fixture along Barracks Row. The Hill Rag told the story of our origin in its July 2019 edition.
